About This Project
Esperanza Nortje, who has the Orecchiette with Broccoli, chilli, oven-roasted garlic and Willow Creek olive oil named after her on the Autumn Menu, answered a few question for us in celebration of the being on the Autumn Menu.
How do you feel about appearing on the Societi Bistro menu and the Esperanza in particular?
It is such an honour and it is made from my favourite ingredients.
What is your favourite food to indulge in?
Anything Italian, so the Tour Through Italy is such a treat.
What was your dream job when you were growing up?
To be a fashion designer with my own clothing label.
One of your most inspiring experiences in your career to date?
Setting up Naartjie Clothing’s E-Commerce platform and watching it grow exponentially.
What is your favourite leisure activity?
Spending time with my family and friends.
Any memories you would like to share about Societi Bistro?
My 39th birthday party in The Snug, such an memorable evening. The food is unpretentious, perfectly balanced and delicious and the service impeccable.
